Trading deadline is week 10.
All trades automatically are processed with no commish approval system.
Trades must be accepted 24 hours before kickoff of the first game of the week.
Trades accepted after the kickoff of the first games, or within the 24 period prior to kickoff of the first game of the week will be processed and effective for the following weeks games.
You are permitted to trade any players and any draft picks.
Owners can request to have the commissioner process trades that fall within the 24 hour time leading to the kickoff of the first game of the week, providing the commissioner(s) is available to do so and both owners are aware the trade will go through so they have time to reset their lineups.
Once a player is traded to another team, he may not be traded back to you from the same team for a minimum time of 4 weeks.
Owners can only trade draft picks, and players of the same season. For example, during the 2012 season, an owner can not make a trade involving the 2013 season draft picks.
Prior/During the draft, owners may trade draft picks, players, or a combination of the two.
Although ALL trades will be executed by the commissioner, every owner in the league has the right to raise objection, the league must secure 4 objections to a trade. If 4 owners raise an objection, the trade will them be brought to a league vote, where 8 of the 12 owners must vote to reverse the trade. The vote must be completed within 24 hours or the trade will remain. If the trade is vetoed by 7 owners, the trade will be reversed. If the trade objection process falls within the 24 hour time prior to kickoff, I will ask for an quick vote so the trade can be dealt with in enough time as to not effect either owners weekly lineup submissions.
The EMPIRE League uses Blind Bidding for determining what team is awarded players on the free agent list.
Each team will begin every season with 1000 Blind Bidding Dollars.
You may trade but not permitted to give away your Blind Bidding Dollars.
In the event your Blind Bidding dollars have ran out before the end or the season or during the playoffs, you will not be permitted to make any transactions unless using the FCFS waiver.
The Minimum bid to acquire a free agent is during the Blind Bidding process is $1.
The EMPIRE League uses CONDITIONAL BLIND BIDDING (see below for details).
Conditional bidding allows an owner to bid on player A and if not awarded, then bid on player B. Non-conditional ("regular") bidding just has an owner bid on player A and then bid on player B. In this latter case, the owner could get both players A and B. In the former, the owner would only get one of the two.
Note that in Conditional Bidding you would enter players in multiple rounds in order to receive several players, but the Rounds are merely placeholders for these bids and have no weighted value.
Conditional blind bids are a lot like waiver request waiver moves, in that owners can enter multiple rounds of waiver moves, and prioritize their picks in each round. Each round's worth of requests is looked at, top to bottom, and the first bid that is considered valid is the one that the system will accept, ignoring future bids in that round.
In the event 2 teams have the same bid on a free agent, the team that entered their bid first will be awarded the player.
Dropped players are locked for 2 days.
Waivers will not run after the draft, prior to the first game. So you must draft a legal roster and lineup.
To acquire a FA via FCFS process , it will cost $0 per transaction against your BBID balance.
FCFS will run each week after Blind Bidding has processed.
Waivers end at kickoff of week 17.
First come, first served through Sunday midnight.
No Waivers from Sunday midnight ET through kickoff of the first game of the following week.
Teams eliminated from the playoffs will not be permitted to make any transactions.
